Multi-level marketing was never on my radar; I have two college degrees and had a successful career prior to Plexus. I had organically built a network, so when I began sharing Plexus products, people trusted me. Within three years, I ranked to “Diamond Ambassador” and now also train internationally on building a network marketing business and branding yourself for success. My husband and I own Big Jake’s Complete Auto, rental properties, and a property preservation company that services the southern United States. We believe in working hard and playing hard.

PRESSING QUESTIONS
Best career moment so far:
My best career moment is EVERY DAY. I get to mold each day into whatever I want it to be. I wake up when I want, work when I want, and I get to enjoy every minute with my family.
Best advice you’ve ever received:
To treat everyone as if they’re wearing a sign around their neck that says, “Make me feel special.” My grandmother instilled that into me growing up; it was taught to her by her personal friend, Mary Kay Ash.
Favorite part of living in Little Rock?
There’s just something to be said for backroads, packin’ up and heading out for a spur-of-the-moment weekend lake trip, and enjoying life with people that have been family friends for generations. I love everything about small-town living!
What is a typical workday like?
I typically do 2-3 Skype meetings (for training purposes or recruiting) and meet with a teammate or two (at my home or a restaurant). My days are never the same, and I work around my family’s schedule (not vice versa).
Most rewarding part of your job:
By far hearing the joy people have by getting their life/health back or just feeling better, but also, a close second is seeing friends succeed and thrive in a business-from-home. Both are incredibly rewarding.
What advice would you give your 18 year old self?
Enjoy the small things in life ... because one day you may look back and realize they were actually the big things.
Biggest challenges or obstacles you’ve faced in your career:
Negative self-talk. We talk to ourselves more than anyone else in the world, and we are always our harshest critics. It’s so important that we gut-check ourselves and really make sure we’re speaking life and positivity.
I wish I knew how to__________.
be CRAFTY! I am so jealous of you pinterest-y Martha Stewart types. I so wish I was crafty, but I’m not, and I’ve accepted that. My husband definitely did not marry me for my domestication skills!
