This past week, Women & Children First reported that more than 50 victims were living in their shelter, which is well over capacity.

In order to keep it running efficiently, they are asking the public for donations. Here are the top 10 needs for this month:
- Trash bags (kitchen and 33-gallon)
- Deodorant
- Clorox bleach
- Lysol kitchen/all-purpose spray
- Cleaning supplies (409, etc.)
- Bath and hand towels (used or new)
- Laundry detergent (PODS preferred)
- Paper towels
- Toilet paper
- Plastic plates and bowls
Women & Children First is central Arkansas’s largest domestic violence shelter, empowering those who have been subjected to domestic violence and their children, to live independently and free from violence by providing crisis intervention, safe shelter, social / legal advocacy, transitional housing, prevention education and support services.
