Tickets go on sale today for the 10th annual Festival of Wines, scheduled for Thursday, Oct. 3. Plan ahead and you can taste your way through the state’s largest wine festival at a discount.
The first 100 tickets sold are being offered at a discount — two tickets for $99.
Discounted tickets can be purchased by calling the American Heart Association at (501) 707-6600.
The annual festival, presented by the Jack Stephens Heart Institute at St. Vincent, encompasses the entire Dickey-Stephens Park, 400 W. Broadway St., North Little Rock, concourse and includes more than 500 wines from around the world.
In addition to the more than 500 wines provided by Moon and Central Distributors, patrons can sample healthy hors d’oeuvres from area restaurants.
Featured restaurants include: 1620 Savoy, Bar Louie, Boscos Restaurant & Brewing Co., Boulevard Bread Co., Bray Gourmet, Cache, Cheers in the Heights/Maumelle, Cregeen’s Irish Pub, Whole Hog Cafe (North Little Rock location), P.F Chang’s China Bistro, Salut!, Two Sisters Catering and Ya Ya’s Euro Bistro.
The Festival of Wines, which raises funds to fight heart disease and stroke, America’s No. 1 and No. 4 killers, includes silent and premier auctions and live painting by local artists. For the 10th consecutive year, local artist Tracee Gentry will return to present and auction off a signature painting for the festival.
Tickets are $60 in advance (unless you purchase a pair from the first 100) and $75 at the door and can be purchased by calling the American Heart Association at (501) 707-6600 or by clicking here.
