WOMEN TO WATCH

Erin Moore

Lead Account Executive
The Hatcher Agency

As an account executive, my job is to take care of all of my clients’ insurance needs. At The Hatcher Agency, we believe that excellent service sets us apart, so we strive to meet the needs of our clients, from anything as small as a claims issue to major negotiations on large group renewals. I take pride in the fact that the employees and clients I work with trust me implicitly. I came to The Hatcher Agency after living and working in Chicago for seven years.

PRESSING QUESTIONS

How did you know this is what you wanted to do?

I didn’t! I was always that person who floated through life, not really knowing what I wanted to do. This job found me. It was just dumb luck that I ended up being good at it and enjoying it.

Best advice you’ve ever received:

Illegitimi non carborundum (Google it). These words are always applicable, especially in a sales job!

Favorite part of living in Little Rock?

There is always something to do. Our outdoor activities could rival any larger city. Bike trails, hiking, I could go on and on. My family and friends are all a short car ride away, so that is a definite plus.

Most rewarding part of your job:

I understand that navigating the world of insurance is rarely fun for a client. They are often coming to me when an unexpected medical event has taken place. If I can help them in any way, it is extremely rewarding

Who is your role model?

Hands down my parents. Equally. They are the smartest people I know, and they gave me the room to grow and learn in my younger years that has made me the fearless firecracker I am today.

I wish I knew how to__________.

Play the guitar. I would love to be famous for creating an excellent guitar riff. I could give Deep Purple a run for their money.

If you could lunch with any woman, who would it be?

Elizabeth I. The coolest female in history. While I don’t agree with all of her tactics, she got things done in a time when women had limited power. We would drink mead and skip lunch due to our tight corsets.

How you define success:

One word: Happiness. If you have achieved happiness, you have truly made it.
