River Market Live at the River Market Pavilions // Turn it up, downtown. The latest seasonal concert series from the Little Rock Convention and Visitors Bureau brings free, weekly concerts throughout the month of August. Friday, Aug. 18

Third Friday Art Walk in Argenta // Let’s go on a walk, everybody. Lace up your comfy shoes because this monthly walk invites you to stroll through the Argenta Arts District’s lineup of special exhibits and events. Highlights include a Zoe Jett pop-up at Bang-Up Betty, a Cary Smith exhibit at Argenta Library, a chance to meet some makers at The Hub and a Paula Steel exhibit at the NLR Welcome Center. NLR Chamber Golf Classic at the Burns Park Golf Course // Hope your swing is in shape. This annual golf tournament spans two days with registration including breakfast, lunch, snacks, beverages, green fees, golf cart and prizes. Just make sure you stay hydrated out there. Learn more here.

 

Saturday, Aug. 19

Free Admission Day at the Clinton Presidential Center // HBD, Bill. Former President Clinton is turning the big 7-7, and to celebrate, the center will open to the public for free. If you’ve been wanting to explore the permanent exhibit collection, the “Dinosaur Explorer” temporary exhibit or just the beautiful space, this is the perfect opportunity. Little Rock Little Market in SoMa // Held in the Love Spell Tattoo parking lot, this summertime pop-up fest is bringing the local goodness. Expect a full lineup of vendors, eats from The Utopia Deli and flash tattoos from Love Spell. Stop by 11 a.m. – 4 p.m. Learn more here.

“Jurassic World” at the Clinton Presidential Center // As part of the aforementioned “Dinosaur Explorer” exhibit, the center is hosting a free screening for the grown-ups on Saturday night. Low Ivy Pop-Ups at Rusty Tractor Vineyards // Is this what nostalgia tastes like? Amanda Ivy with Low Ivy Catering is visiting the Little Rock metro this weekend and bringing her signature flavors with her.
