A few months ago, we told you about a new ice cream and fudge shop that was headed to the River Market. This weekend, Kilwins opened their doors and our excitement did not go to waste.
Kilwins offers everything from specialty ice cream and coffee to any sort of fudge, brittle or taffy your heart desires. Everything is made in-house; you can watch the waffle cones and fudge take shape from the front windows.
The sweet shop helps offer some diversity to the River Market, especially with later hours. Kilwins is open 11 a.m. to 10 p.m. Monday through Friday, 10 a.m. to 11 p.m. or midnight Saturday, and noon to 9 p.m. Sunday. Now when your late night sweet tooth calls, you have an answer.
Stop by their location in the Arcade Building at 415 President Clinton Ave. next to Freckled Frog. You won’t regret it.
