Inspired by the opulent Palace of Versailles, the Children’s Hall was transformed into a classical French setting for the annual Miracle Ball on the Arkansas Children’s Hospital campus. Chris Norwood and Howard Hurst of Tipton & Hurst designed elegant arrangements that Mike Nichols of The Rep used to create a magical backdrop of florals, statuary and lavish gold decor. Guests enjoyed a French-inspired menu created by Capers, entertainment by the Arkansas Symphony Orchestra Big Band and premiere silent and live auctions, the latter of which included a diamond and emerald necklace and earrings from Jones & Son Fine Jewelry. Terri and Chuck Erwin served as event chairs; presenting sponsors included Barbara Tyson, RebeccaRice & Associates and Jones & Son Fine Jewelry. Craig O’Neill served as emcee and Thomas Blackmon as auctioneer for the evening, which raised more than $550,000 for the hospital’s programs.
