Fort Smith Women’s Leadership Summit Announces 2026 Speaker Lineup

The Fort Smith Women’s Leadership Summit returns Dec. 3, bringing together women from across the region for a half-day of professional development, connection and fresh perspectives.

The annual event will take place at the ACHE Research Institute Health & Wellness Center, featuring a lineup of speakers and sessions focused on leadership, workplace dynamics, team building and well-being.

Maddie Stojanovic, resource development director for United Way of Fort Smith Area, will open the summit with her session “Defining Leadership.” A Fort Smith-area native, Stojanovic brings experience in community relations, corporate social responsibility and nonprofit development.

Next, Dr. Jo Alice Blondin and Kellie Black will take the stage for a panel discussion on the evolving workplace. Drawing on the latest data and their professional experience, the local leaders will examine some of today’s most pressing workplace challenges from AI adoption and silent restructuring to the growing experience gap between leaders and employees.

Then, Kenzie White, senior business partner of learning and development at Arvest, will lead a workshop titled “The Ideal Team Player.” Centered on the core virtues of humility, hunger and smartness, the session will offer attendees a framework for building stronger teams and becoming more effective collaborators.

Closing out the summit is Dr. Terisa Riley, chancellor of the University of Arkansas at Fort Smith. In her session “Joyful Work: Lead With Purpose. Connect With Others. Rediscover Joy.,” Riley will explore how women can lead with greater confidence, authenticity and purpose while making room for personal well-being. Through reflection, meaningful conversations and shared experiences, attendees will consider how leadership is shaped not only by what we accomplish but also by who we become along the way.

“The Fort Smith Women’s Leadership Summit is about creating opportunities for women to connect, learn and lead,” says Mandy Richardson, summit founder, publisher of Little Rock Soirée and president of the consumer media division for Arkansas Business Publishing Group. “We’re bringing together an exceptional group of speakers to spark new ideas, challenge perspectives and help women lead with greater confidence.”
