MISSION:
Building on record-breaking momentum, the University of Arkansas is reaching higher to strengthen student success and expand its impact across the state. The Land of Opportunity Scholarship is central to that vision, reducing financial barriers for talented Arkansas students with significant financial need while connecting them with mentorship, academic coaching, financial planning and career-building opportunities such as undergraduate research, study abroad and internships with Arkansas companies. By pairing scholarship support with academic, experiential and wraparound resources, the initiative helps students persist, graduate and prepare for successful careers — advancing 150 Forward Reaching Higher and the university’s land-grant mission to serve Arkansas.
