Artist Spotlight: Michael Warrick

“KEPT KITT” by MICHAEL WARRICK, 2024, ALUMINUM, 12X12X5, on loan from the Fisk University Galleries, Nashville, Tennessee.

ARTIST STATEMENT

“My works tell stories about people and the wide and fascinating range of those I have met throughout my life as an artist, teacher, mentor, parent and human being. Some of these sculptures depict real people from my life, some are combinations of actual people and some are characters the artist has created. But all are revelations of inner spirits.”
