Musicals, comedy, carnivorous talking plants — it’s all coming to Main Street in North Little Rock.
The Argenta Contemporary Theatre announced its 2027 season with the theme “What’s Old is New Again” at a special launch party this week. There, organizers shared plans to bring Broadway classics, cult favorites and even some audience participation to the stage next year.
Here’s what’s coming to ACT in 2027:
- “Dear Jack, Dear Louise” – Feb. 3-21
- “Kiss Me, Kate” – March 10-21
- “Ma Rainey’s Black Bottom” – May 19-31
- “Hadestown: Teen Edition” – July 28 – Aug. 8
- “Marjorie Prime” – Sept. 22 – Oct. 3
- “Little Shop of Horrors” – Oct. 13-31
- Audience choice holiday show – Dec. 1-19
The current ACT season is, of course, still going strong, with “Hands on a Hardbody” debuting this week, “Misery” opening in October and “A Christmas Carol” returning in December.
