Brave New Features Soy-Inspired Dishes for Kitchen|Fields Table Tour

After six months of deliciousness, the Kitchen|Fields Table Tour comes to a close this month at one of Little Rock’s staple eateries, Brave New Restaurant.

Now in its second year, the Kitchen|Fields Table Tour comes from the Arkansas Soybean Promotion Board (ASPB) encouraging Arkansans to eat more soy foods and soy-fed protein, such as pork, beef, turkey and chicken. The tour teamed up with restaurants across the state to feature soy-centric items, celebrating Arkansas’ huge impact on the soybean industry nationwide.

This dish features soymeal-fed pork that is marinated and roasted off whole before being sliced and served.

“Many Arkansans are unaware that our state has over 43,500 farms, with 97 percent of those farms being family-owned. The Kitchen|Fields Table Tour is a great platform to educate our neighbors about Arkansas agriculture and the impact soybean production has on our state,” Arkansas Agriculture Secretary Wes Ward said.

Now’s your chance to make your own tasty impact. Brave New is open 11 a.m. – 2 p.m. and 5-9 p.m. Monday-Friday, and 5-10 p.m. on Saturday.
