Dinner theater is getting a ruby-studded makeover.
Dorothy, Toto and the gang are off on an adventure down the yellow brick road as the classic show “The Wizard of Oz” takes the stage at Murry’s Dinner Playhouse this weekend.
The theater has been serving up Broadway musicals and comedies since 1967, and that tradition continues with this crowd favorite show. The production is, of course, family-friendly, and features a new way to experience every character and song you’ve loved since childhood. Guests can also expect a “Wizard of Oz”-themed menu from the Murry’s kitchen.
The show will run from July 12 – Aug. 26. Opening weekend performance times are dinner at 6 p.m. and curtain at 7:30 p.m. Wednesday-Saturday; lunch at 11 a.m. and curtain at 12:45 p.m. on Sunday afternoon; and dinner at 5:30 p.m. and curtain at 6:45 on Sunday evening.
Murry’s is located at 6323 Colonel Glenn Road. Tickets range from $15 – $37 and include show-only options. Call (501) 562-3131 or click here for more ticket info.
