501 Fest Returns to SoMa to Celebrate Central Arkansas

Now in its fourth year, 501 Fest will be held on Saturday, May 4, in the SoMa district of downtown Little Rock. The festival will celebrate the capital city and surrounding towns that share the same 501 area code. Local vendors, restaurants, artists and community members will come together to highlight all of the best things that central Arkansas has to offer.

Here are a few of the day’s highlights in SoMa:

  • live music and DJs
  • local food and drinks
  • handmade goods
  • apparel, art, jewelry and accessories
  • bounce houses and games for the kids
  • laser tag
  • vintage apparel and decor

The fest is an official part of 501 Day (traditionally held on May 1), a day where cities, businesses and organizations across central Arkansas show their pride with special 501-themed offers, activities, merchandise, public art displays and whatever else they dream up to celebrate the region they’re proud to call home.

501 Fest will take place from 11 a.m. – 6 p.m. on Main Street and East Daisy L Gatson Bates Drive, and a portion of proceeds will go to Creators Village, a local nonprofit that helps artists become financially savvy by investing in their futures and equipping them with tools and knowledge to manage their finances.

Keep up with 501 Fest updates on the event’s website and on Facebook and Instagram.
