3rd Annual Little Rock Horror Picture Show Starts Thursday

If you’re a horror flick fan, get your fix this weekend at the 3rd Annual Little Rock Horror Picture Show.

The yearly Little Rock Film Festival event from tomorrow (March 20) to Sunday (March 23) showcases the best in horror from around the world.

This year’s Little Rock Horror Picture Show will be screening full-length and short films at the Ron Robinson Theater, 1 Pulaski Way, Little Rock, and will also have extra fun with panel discussions and parties.  Some films will have Q&As with their cast and crew. This includes opening night tomorrow (March 20), which will have special guests Brooke Butler and Tom Williamson, the stars of All Cheerleaders Die! The two will be on hand to take part in a special Q&A with festival goers following the film.

And immediately following the screening and Q&A, head over to WT Bubba’s Country Tavern for a fun after-party with live music from Bonnie Montgomery and Nathan Howdeshell, starting at 9:30 p.m. The party is free for those with full passes.

The horror festival will feature a big lineup of Arkansas-made horror shorts this year that will include a feature made in Arkansas, horror/sci-fi films from last year’s 48 Hour Film Project and a wonderful lineup of horror shorts from all over the state.

International shorts will also be screened, in addition to several full-length films, plus many others. The Little Rock Horror Picture Show will present “The Sacrament,” the latest film from director Ti West (“House of the Devil,” “The Innkeepers”). The film stars actor/director Joe Swanberg (“PROXY“, “Drinking Buddies”) and LRFF alumnus and actor/director Amy Seimetz (AMC’s “The Killing”, “When We Lived in Miami“). See the full schedule and lineup here.

Full passes are $50, while day passes are $20. Purchase online here!

This year the festival is teaming up with the Arkansas Food Bank to “Take a Bite out of Hunger” because going hungry is a scary thing for too many families and children in the state of Arkansas. If you bring three or more non-perishable food items when you purchase tickets to LRHPS you’ll get $5 off the price of one full pass or $3 off the price of one-day pass. Starting Feb. 21 at the special encore screening of last year’s audience award winning film, “Jug Face,” collection barrels will be on hand at the theater and Little Rock Film Festival office.
