It’s April and Little Rock’s calendar is filled with all kinds of events, many supporting charitable organizations around central Arkansas.
Tomorrow (April 11), three fun nonprofit events are lined up in Little Rock:
A Day at the Masters at First Tee of Central Arkansas, First Tee of Central Arkansas, 1 First Tee Way, Little Rock: The First Tee will sponsor a par 3 contest for two-person teams with tee times from noon – 5:30 p.m. The tournament will be followed by a reception and auction starting at 6 p.m. Players and reception attendees, as well as members of the general public, will be able to purchase raffle tickets for the chance to win tickets to the final two rounds of this year’s U.S. Open at Merion Golf Club in Ardmore, Penn. Casino Royale: Wine & Design 2013, Next Level Events, 1400 W. Markham, Little Rock: ASID Little Rock District is bringing the casino to the capital city for the special Wine & Design 2013 event benefiting Our House. At the event, which will run from 6:30 – 10:30 p.m., attendees can enjoy free wine and hors d’oeuvres along with door prizes and a silent auction. JCA 50th Annual Humanitarian Dinner, Wally Allen Ballroom at Statehouse Convention Center, 101 E. Markham, Little Rock: Just Communities of Arkansas is hosting its 50th Annual Humanitarian Awards Dinner, honoring Arkansas First Lady Ginger Beebe and Colette Honorable, chairman of the Arkansas Public Service Commission. Since 1964, JCA has bestowed its Humanitarian Award to 90 outstanding individuals for achievement in building community and advancing opportunity for the common good. A reception will kick off at 6 p.m. and the dinner and program will start at 7 p.m. Tickets are $250 and can be purchased here.
