2012 Women to Watch: Jenny Gregory of Little Rock Gynecology and Obstetrics, PLLC

Jenny Gregory
OB/GYN Physician, Little Rock Gynecology and Obstetrics, PLLC

Little Rock Gynecology and Obstetrics, PLLC, is central Arkansas’ premier facility dedicated to women’s health. I, along with my partners, Dr. Christie Beck and Dr. Karen Kozlowski, am proud to provide a patient-centered, discreet and healing environment. Our practice includes annual gynecology exams, obstetrical care, adolescent gynecology, menopause therapy, urinary incontinence and vaginal/vulvar refinement. Along with traditional gynecology surgery, we also offer minimally invasive surgical options that allow women to recover with less pain and recovery time. From adolescence to menopause, we believe that every woman deserves a personalized and comprehensive approach to wellness.

On Power
People often underestimate the power of motherhood. Nothing changes your life like a child. My daughter has evoked a new sense of power and love that I never knew possible.

I feel most powerful after a strenuous workout, as there is no greater stress relief than exercise. As a kick-boxing instructor for over a decade, I enjoy motivating others to push themselves to new achievements.

A true sign of power is acknowledging and respecting your weaknesses, while exceeding your expectations. My patients are important to me and I constantly strive to be an exceptional physician and put their wellbeing first.

On Motivation

I believe health care will be revolutionized over the next decade, resulting in safer, more efficient care. I am very proud to work and volunteer for organizations that realize this mission. I am passionate about women’s health and love the diversity of obstetrics and gynecology. My goal in this profession is to retire with the same integrity as my mentors, Dr. Karen Kozlowski and Dr. Janet Cathey. I’m amazed by the respect and admiration their patients have expressed and pray I can make a similar impact every day.

On Success
A successful career begins with preparation. Medicine is founded in innovation. I owe it to my patients to listen to their concerns, question convention and seek new treatment possibilities.

Typical Weekend

I wake up at 6:30 a.m. to the most beautiful 1-year-old daughter, Lily, who is ready to play. My family is my top priority on weekends that I am not on call. My husband and I love being outdoors and usually end up at a park, the Big Dam Bridge or Pinnacle Mountain.
