Matt Henry is honored to be recognized for a second year in Soirée’s Best Lawyers list. Since he was first recognized, Mr. Henry has had a tremendous year. In February, he was able to get a $136,000 verdict in a jury trial against a California-based real estate investor, and in September he was able to get a judgment for over $600,000 against a Saline County developer on a faulty construction claim.
These judgments were not easily achieved. “It’s not unusual for us to have to battle multiple law firms, high standards of proof and tedious fact gathering to get these results,” he says. “As cases progress, our client’s confidence in us grows. They see our hard work, our tenacious advocacy and they know they’ve picked the right firm to get them where they need to go.”
Individuals and large corporations alike have placed their trust in Mr. Henry’s professional abilities. His client list includes several property owners associations across the state, as well as banks, restaurants, websites and general contractors. In addition to commercial real estate, Mr. Henry is sought after for corporate re-organization, probate and trust law and intellectual property law.
“It’s been such a great privilege to work on both the plaintiff and defendant side of litigation. It’s so personally rewarding when clients communicate to you how happy they are with your services and your advocacy. I can’t imagine doing anything else.”
One thing Mr. Henry has not been able to accomplish is keeping his and his wife Sarah’s daughters from growing up too fast. “Not long ago, I was changing their diapers; now they’re correcting my grammar in my texts to them and color coordinating my suits. It makes me dizzy to think about how smart they are,” he says.
