The number of homeless families and individuals served by Our House tripled over five years, and a million children’s center was built.

The annual Dinner on the Grounds event will celebrate its 13th year raising money for Our House on May 11.

Our House was formed to combat the homelessness issue in central Arkansas in 1987. Our House empowers homeless and near-homeless families and individuals to succeed in the workforce, school and life by teaching hard work, wise decision-making and active participation in the community. Because of the organization's success, the Our House model has been replicated across the country in 39 states and throughout Arkansas.

Chaired by Del Boyette along with co-chairs Sara and Jimmy Batcheller, the event will be held on the lawn of the Terry House. Guests can enjoy an outdoor evening filled with supper by Ben E. Keith, local treats, live music and springtime libations.

Tickets are $150 per person and can be purchased online here. For more information on the event, head to Our House's website
