The first-ever Arkansas Italian Food and Culture Festival is finally upon us. The fest, happening April 20-21, will be held in Riverfront Park in North Little Rock. The event will feature the best of Italian culture — including those delicious pasta dishes.
Festivalgoers will learn how to cook Italian food like true Italians with cooking lessons and competitions. Kiddos will also have their chance to test their spaghetti skills with a kid’s cooking competition.
Attendees can work up a sweat after consuming plenty of carbs during the bocce ball and soccer tournaments, and a group cycle will also take place along the Arkansas River, ending at the festival.
And what kind of Italian festival would it be without an Italian car show? The show will feature some of Italy’s finest car brands such as Ferrari and Lamborghini, along with live music and art.
Parking is available in the Argenta Arts District. If you’re planning on parking in downtown Little Rock, you can take the blue trolley route from Little Rock to North Little Rock for the festival.
The fest will be open from 4-10 p.m. on April 20 and 8 a.m.-10 p.m. on April 21. Tickets are $5 at the gate and kids five and under get in free.
