Little Rock has anxiously awaited the opening of its first Movie Tavern, and we're so close we can taste it.
Located behind the Outlets of Little Rock, the new space has all the things you want from a movie theater: 11 screens of varying sizes, reclining chairs, state-of-the-art viewing technology, even a reservable party room.
But the reason you go to a Movie Tavern is to enjoy a full menu of eats and drinks while watching your movie, and the Little Rock theater has lots to offer. Arrive early or stay late to relax in the bar, lounge and dining area in the lobby, or take your seat in your auditorium, push the call button and order from a long list of classic eats like burgers, pizza and nachos.
For the grownups, there's an extensive menu of adult beverages to enjoy. The bar has 16 beers on tap (more than any other Movie Tavern location) including local breweries like Lost Forty and Diamond Bear. You can also sip margaritas, wine or even a boozy milkshake.
Regardless, Movie Tavern is still completely family friendly. This location also streamlined the arrival process by foregoing a physical box office and opting for a wall of kiosks instead.
Little Rock's Movie Tavern will host its grand opening on Thursday, March 1, with a soft opening on Tuesday, Jan. 23. To learn more, visit the Movie Tavern website.
