Nope. It's not about Halloween.

Día de los Muertos, or Day of the Dead, is a traditional celebration with Mexican origins where people gather to pay homage to their deceased loved ones on Nov. 1-2. Contrary to popular belief, Día de los Muertos has nothing to do with Halloween celebrations but instead takes time to remember the dead and celebrate the lives they lead.

And this year, Dunbar Garden wants you to spend it with them.

The Quapaw Quarter space will host a celebration on Wednesday from 6-10 p.m. where guests are invited to remember loved ones with a smile. The night includes costumes, s'mores, drinks, entertainment, a bonfire and more.

Dunbar Garden is located at 1801 S. Chester St. Click here to find more information on the Facebook event page.
