Yet another example of queso saving lives.

The cult favorite and Arkansas-originated restaurant Tacos 4 Life just announced a new partnership with the Arkansas Foodbank and the Northwest Arkansas Food Bank for the holiday season.

Kicking off its first-ever Season of Giving, every Tacos 4 Life location in Arkansas will serve as a collection hub for donations of canned food beginning Tuesday, Nov. 7. As an added incentive, donors will receive a free queso card, which they can redeem later in the month.

But it doesn't stop at queso. In December, for every kid's meal purchased, Tacos 4 Life will donate a meal to a child in need through Arkansas Foodbank programs like Snackpack and Food for Kids. The goal is to expand the program to out-of-state locations in the coming years.

Thanks to owners and founders Austin and Ashton Samuelson, philanthropy is built into the foundation of Tacos 4 Life. All year, the restaurant partners with Feed My Starving Children to help eradicate childhood hunger worldwide. For every meal sold in the restaurant, Tacos 4 Life donates funds to purchase one meal for those in need.

"We are honored to partner with the Arkansas and Northwest Arkansas Food Banks this holiday season to help those in our home state," Ashton says. "Our mission to help end world hunger is the core value and driving force behind our brand, and we are very excited to bring our global mission to a local level."

Tacos 4 Life is located at the Shackleford Crossings Shopping Center at 2630 S. Shackleford in Little Rock, with other locations throughout central Arkansas.
