Every year, Vera Lloyd Presbyterian Family Services cares for almost 200 youth from all over Arkansas.

Vera Lloyd Presbyterian Family Services has a mission of sharing Christ’s healing love with children, youth and families. Our children’s home in Monticello has been a safe and loving home for youth since it opened in 1923.

Today, we are home to youth, ages 6 to 21, in foster care or boys who have committed misdemeanors. Our vision is to be the model of excellence for transforming and empowering children, youth and families. Our core values are love, trust, family, respect and empowerment. The agency is accredited by the Council on Accreditation.

  • Your gift of $150 will provide a day of care for one youth, including counseling, academic assistance and preparation for life after high school graduation.
  • Your gift of $1,000 or more will help add a comprehensive security system, estimated at $75,000, to improve safety for youth.
  • Your gift of $1,500 will provide appliances, furniture and other furnishings for one of our five homes for youth on our Monticello campus.
  • Your donation of a van, a truck or a golf cart will provide better care for youth and facilities.
