We can smell the coffee now.
Nexus Coffee & Creative is the newest kid on the java block, and as of July 15, you can finally try it for yourself. We got a sneak peek at the all-new 301B President Clinton Ave., and we're sharing it with you.
The space offers plenty of seating — bars, benches, couches and otherwise — and even a private meeting room in the back with tech services. On the walls is artwork from local artists Lindsay Soulsby Johnson and Beau Jones, and a magnetic board for posting local news.
The Nexus menu consists of waffles, crepes, sandwiches, soups, cheese boards and more, including loose leaf tea, craft beer, wine and, of course, lots and lots of coffee.
"We're focused on coffee, community and creativity," owner Amy Moorehead told Soirée back in April. "We want to be a unique and comfortable environment for people to come in and enjoy whether they're an entrepreneur, a downtown resident, a tourist or whatever."
Guests can stop in for breakfast, lunch or dinner six days a week. Shop hours are 7 a.m. - 7 p.m. Monday-Thursday and 7 a.m. - 9 p.m. Friday-Saturday.
