Our Favorite Things About the Brand New Petit & Keet Bar and Grill

Petit & Keet Bar and Grill, Little Rock’s newest restaurant from the likes of Jim Keet and Louis Petit, is finally opening its doors to the public.

So before you make your reservation, check out our favorite things about the new place so you know what to expect.

Where to begin? The hot chicken? The Panko-crusted avocado? The barbecue shrimp and rice grits? You can’t go wrong with this menu full of classic dishes and new favorites. We particularly enjoyed the fried cauliflower, the classic burger and the charred miso salmon. But let’s not forget the drinks. With a solid wine selection and handcrafted cocktails, this is your new west Little Rock afterhours destination, and the cherry limeade mule just might be your new vice. Happy hour heaven truly is a place on earth.

The only thing that makes a happy hour even happier is a great patio, and that’s exactly what Petit & Keet built. Both open and cozy, we can already foresee many a night spent under those string lights or around the fire pit.

If you’re expecting to walk in and experience a space that solely echos the 1620 Savoy restaurant that previously resided there, think again. Designer Garry Mertins and KO Construction Management reimagined the space and created a modern, spacious, light-filled restaurant. One of our favorite features is the wall of garage doors, ready to welcome in the good weather.

Set at 1620 Market St., Petit & Keet is just close enough to the highway, but tucked just enough away to feel like you’re in your own little corner of Little Rock. Yes, please.
