This new lineup of events may give you a view of Little Rock you haven't seen before.
The Downtown Little Rock Partnership (DLRP) recently announced Alley Parties, events that will take place "in tucked away portions of downtown."
“This is a beautiful city, with incredible and unique architecture,” DLRP Executive Director Gabe Holmstrom said. “We are excited to show off another side of Little Rock, the Little Rock tucked away, off the beaten path. By bringing music and fun and life to new areas, we will hopefully spark people’s imagination of what else might be possible.”
The party series begins at 1212 East 6th St. in Hanger Hill (which last year was redubbed East Village) on Thursday, April 27. It will take over the parking lot of the former Recycle Bikes for Kids space beside Rock Town Distillery.
Alley Parties are open to the public, and the kickoff event will include drinks from Lost Forty, Rebel Kettle and Rock Town Distillery, eats from Taqueria Jalisco San Juan food truck and live music from The Going Jesses. Be there 5:30-8 p.m.
Keep your eye out for more Alley Party announcements, and mark your calendars for the next events on May 18 and June 15.
