Third Friday Argenta Art Walk in downtown Argenta, North Little Rock: It's time to go on a walk, everybody. Lace up your comfy shoes because this fun walk is all about strolling through the Argenta Arts District’s monthly lineup of special exhibits. Walkable galleries include Barry Thomas Fine Art & Studio, Core Brewery, Thea Foundation, Argenta Branch of Laman Library, studioMain, Greg Thompson Fine Art, Claytime Pottery, Argenta Gallery, Southern Women Artisan Guild, House of Art and Mugs Café. "Titanic: The Musical" Opening Night at The Weekend Theater, Little Rock: You may know how the story ends, but you haven't seen it told like this. MLK Race to Stop the Violence 5K at the Arkansas State Capitol, Little Rock: This run/walk through downtown is more than your average 5K. Organizers of this event work with community forces to "help bring awareness and solutions to crime and violence in Little Rock." The race starts at 8 a.m. at the State Capitol. Midwest Winds Woodwind Quintet at Christ Episcopal Church, Little Rock: As an ambassador to the Air Force Band of Mid-America, this group connects with audiences across a 10-state region through performances and educational outreach events, and is now bringing its show to Arkansas as part of the Arts@Christ Church series. Beer, Brats and Bots at The Innovation Hub, North Little Rock: Come one and all to watch robots fight to the death, or to final error, at least. Yep, this "robot wrestling spectacular" really is exactly what it sounds like.
