The Economics Arkansas Foundation was established in May 2016 to support the mission of Economics Arkansas. Since 1962, Economics Arkansas has trained PreK-12 teachers to integrate economics and personal finance concepts in classrooms. We train approximately 2,000 teachers annually; however, Arkansas has over 30,000 teachers. We must reach more teachers to advance economic and financial literacy.

Our mission is to equip PreK-12 schools with training and resources to teach economics and personal finance using practical, innovative and inspirational methods. Our goal is for Arkansas students to become economically and financially literate, allowing them to achieve their own American dream and thrive in a free market economy.

Economic education is helping her dream BIG!

The Foundation received its first lead gift of $2 million from the Walton Family Foundation in June 2016. Our goal is $8 million.
