We think we're coming down with a case of boogie fever.

Just in case, we're dusting off our dancing shoes because the Dancing into Dreamland event is back!

The annual fundraiser benefits the Friends of Dreamland, a nonprofit dedicated to restoring the historic Dreamland Ballroom, and is set for 7 p.m. on Friday, Nov. 3.

Located on the third floor of Taborian Hall on W. Ninth Street above the Arkansas Flag & Banner store, the event offers guests a front row seat to a dance competition, plus the chance to take a twirl on the ballroom's iconic dance floor. There will also be plenty of good eats and libations to keep the party going.

This is the fifth year the ballroom has hosted the event. It was previously held at the Governor’s Mansion, but a series of renovations in the summer of 2012 allowed Friends of Dreamland to move the fundraiser to the ballroom.

Tickets are $79 for general admission and group tables and sponsorships are available. For more information on Dancing into Dreamland 2017, visit their website or check out the Facebook event page.
