A staple for lunch, cocktails and dinner, let's first begin with what many of you are wondering: What about those CBG classics, which include the burger with pimento cheese and parmesan fries? (Okay, so we really want to know because this is a standard order for our team. Pass the judgement and a side of truffled bernaise sauce for the fries.) Good news — those stay.
While the summer menu won't officially be released for a couple of days, we did receive a sneak peek of a few dishes courtesy of CBG's Facebook page. Highlights include: charred avocado with shrimp and citrus salad; a mouth-watering chicken fried steak sandwich with tomato aioli, butter lettuce and heirloom tomatoes all on a ciabatta bun; fried biscuits with whipped smoked trout (we just died); and a pickled beets and strawberry salad with whipped goat cheese, pistachios and sorghum vinaigrette.
