Hopefully you know by now that what moms really want for Mother's Day is quality time with her children — and to be treated to a meal she doesn't have to prepare. Am I right? We have a suggestion for you. One word: brunch. Another word: mimosas. This weekend, treat the woman who gave you life to one of these delicious brunches around the city.

Downtown

South on Main: With 11 cocktail options and a delectable spread that includes cheese grits and breakfast tacos, you won't want to miss this brunch. Moms also receive a free dessert jar because moms deserve free things. Brunch is from 10 a.m. to 2 p.m. Take a look at the full menu.

Lost Forty: You had us a "beer brunch." Moms can spend the entire day (that’s right: brunch is from 11 a.m. to 9 p.m.) feasting on Belgian Blonde pancake shortstacks and sipping on Beer'Marys, which are made with Bare Bones Pilsner and house-made pickles. The "mother of all beer brunches," indeed. Check out additional details and the special menu here.

Cache: Enjoy the sites of the River Market while treating mom to a special brunch menu at Cache this Sunday from 10 a.m. to 3 p.m. We're told the restaurant will offer a special a la carte brunch menu and that there will be no shortage of mimosas and Bloody Marys. Reservations are recommended. (501) 850-0265. Click here for more info.

Mother's Day Weekend with the Capital Hotel and Esse Purse Museum: Why wait until Sunday to celeberate Mother's Day? Take mom to the Mother's Day Tea on Saturday from noon to 2 p.m., then treat her to one of these three Sunday brunches inside the hotel:

One Eleven: From 11 a.m. to 3 p.m., enjoy the special Mother's Day brunch at One Eleven. Click here to see the menu. Midtown

Trio's: A staple on the brunch circuit, Trio's will serve its regular brunch menu with a special for moms. Reservations are all booked but we're told they'll allow walk-ins with parties of five or fewer, so get there early! Call for more info: (501) 221-3330.

Loca Luna and Red Door: Both spots offer seriously fantastic patios along with delicious Sunday brunch menus. It's first come, first served for both restaurants this Mother's Day. Loca Luna serves one of our favorite dishes: croissant french toast with roasted pecans and orange infused maple syrup. Excuse us while we wipe the drool from our faces and also look for the nearest treadmill. Check out Loca Luna's menu here. Red Door is whipping up its special Red Door Bacon Bloody Marys. WHAT. We may get in line Saturday night. Check out Red Door's full menu here.

1620 Savoy: Celebrate Mother's Day weekend with complimentary soufflés for all moms both Saturday and Sunday. Let me tell you, these souffés are my favorite in Little Rock. A special Mother's Day brunch will take place from 10 a.m. to 2 p.m. Sunday and reservations are required. Call (501) 221-1620.

Cafe Bossa Nova: A personal favorite of mine, the Brazilian bistro is serving its standard and delcious brunch with $5 mimosas from 10:30 a.m. to 2 p.m. May I suggest both the French toast and the egg sandwich. Reservations are recommended. Call (501) 614-6682.
