Sometimes we wonder if we brag about our food trucks a little too much.
Just kidding. We know how great they are.
Well, it turns out we’re not the only ones to take notice. Small Business Revolution is a project on a mission to tell the stories of 100 small businesses across the country, the likes of which have been highlighted in TIME and National Geographic.
One of the latest to pique their interest is our very own Beast food truck. The short film features the primal/paleo menu and farm-to-table practices the truck is known for, all through the words of owner and locavore Gwen Jones.
To celebrate, the Small Business Revolution is sponsoring a potluck on Thursday, April 30, at the Dunbar Community Garden Project, exactly where Gwen grows much of Beast’s produce. The truck will provide its famous carnitas while Stone’s Throw and Flyway supply the beer. Guests are asked to bring a side dish (it’s a potluck, remember?) and enjoy the night and watching the film on a big screen together.
For more information on the potluck, visit the Facebook event page. Until then, you can watch the video below.
And congrats to the crew at Beast. You are truly awesome, and we are big fans.
