Little Rock Film Festival Releases 2015 Lineup

The Little Rock Film Festival is regarded as one of the top of its kind in the South, and it’s no small wonder. The LRFF will feature more than 100 movies over the course of seven days, including the most Arkansas-made films the festival has ever seen.

The lineup for the 2015 LRFF was recently announced and we’ve got a look at some of the screenings headed your way. Here are a few to look forward to.

The “Cartel Land” documentary takes viewers into the tumultuous worlds on both sides of the border and the people battling the Cartel, while “Peace Officer” takes on the growing debate over police mentality and brutality.

Cinematic non-fiction film “(T)error,) winner of the Sundance Special Jury Prize for Breakout first feature follows an FBI informant tracking domestic terrorism, and “Breaking a Monster” tells the story of an African-American teen heavy metal band in New York.

On the lighter side of things is “7 Chinese Brothers,” a comedy starring Jason Schwartzman that recently premiered at SXSW. Another one we have our eye on is “White God,” which won the Prize of Un Certain Regard at the Cannes Film Festival. And, oh yeah, includes 287 trained dogs.

The ninth annual LRFF runs May 11-17 at different venues in downtown Little Rock and Argenta. For passes, volunteer info, the full lineup and more, click here. Follow them on FacebookTwitter and Instagram for more updates.
