Love the symphony but not into the suit-and-tie routine? You’re not alone. That’s why the Arkansas Symphony Orchestra’s annual Beethoven & Blue Jeans bash is so popular.

Starting each performance off right, the ASO will bring back the Beer & Brats Street Party in front of the Robinson Center, complete with brats, beer and live music via the Episcopal Collegiate School Steel Drum Band.

To cap off the fun, the ASO will perform two concerts of Bruch's Violin Concerto No. 1, Sibelius's Symphony No. 2 and, of course, Beethoven's Consecration of the House Overture. Arguably the best part? Everyone will be in casual attire — even the musicians.

The first Beer & Brats bash kicks off at 5:30 p.m. on Saturday, April 8, with showtime at 7:30 p.m. It picks up again for round two at 1 p.m. on Sunday, April 9, with showtime at 3 p.m.
